Coach Hayley Womack-Sloup was hired prior to the Fall of 2018 to start women's soccer as a Trail Blazer program for the first time in history.

Coach Womack, who currently works at Quincy Junior High School as an 8th grade math teacher, has worked with both the boys and girls soccer programs at Quincy Senior High School over the past 2 years. A QHS graduate, Womack was a four-year starter and is tied for the most goals scored (103) in QHS program history. After high school, she earned an athletic scholarship to play NCAA Division I soccer at Iowa State University. Womack earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, while being a four year member of the women’s soccer program. In addition, she competed in softball for one semester while at ISU. She is also an assistant coach for Missouri ODP (Olympic Development Program) and holds a level 1 and 2 NSCAA Goalkeeper diploma.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Coach Womack to our college and the Trail Blazer athletic department. Hayley was extremely impressive in our conversations and will be able to connect with student-athletes at a very high level, pulling from her high level of playing experience and recent coaching roles. She understands our district and community, while understanding what it takes to be a collegiate soccer player at the highest level. Having Coach Womack’s perspective will not only benefit this start up process, but I am confident will help all of our programs for years to come,” commented Athletic Director Brad Hoyt.
