Schwagmeyer-Belger Accepts Head Job At Quincy University

Coach Ali-Schwagmeyer-Belger has accepted an opportunity to become the next Head Coach for the Quincy University Women's Basketball program. Her appointment was made by QU today.

"Since joining JWCC as Head Women's Basketball Coach in June 2024, Ali has made a lasting impact in the lives of our student-athletes, women's basketball, and our athletic department in a short amount of time," JWCC President Dr. Bryan Renfro shared.  "We will certainly miss her contributions at JWCC and are proud to see her take this next step in her career."

JWCC Athletic Director Adam Hightower echoed Renfro's sentiment.

"Ali was a tremendous asset in numerous areas here at John Wood," Hightower said.  "I was proud to work beside her on a daily basis, and we wish her the best of luck moving forward."

Schwagmeyer-Belger shared her gratitude for her time at JWCC. "I have loved my time here and am so grateful for the opportunity that I was given and the relationships that I was able to make," she said. "I know I would not have been able to get this next position without John Wood, so I am incredibly grateful."

The College has begun the process of identifying the next Lady Trail Blazer Basketball Head Coach and Assistant Athletic Director. Applicants may review the job posting and submit materials at https://jwcc.aaimtrack.com/jobs/.
