Mansfield Earns Post Season Honors

The Midwest Athletic Conference has announced its end of the season award winners, and John Wood Blazers Baseball is excited to announce that it has five players on this year's honors list.

Sophomore outfielder Payton Mansfield was named to the second team All-Conference Infield squad. Mansfield is from Chaplin, Illinois and currently plans to continue his career at Jax State in the fall of 2024.

This spring season, Mansfield had a second team best with an .341 average. He also tallied: 18 doubles, eleven home runs, 50 RBIs, 58 runs, and 51 base on balls.
