Meyer Receives Post Season Honors

The Midwest Athletic Conference has announced its end of the season award winners, and John Wood Blazers Baseball is excited to announce that it has five players on this year's honors list.

Sophomore Garrett Meyer was named to the second team All-Conference and All-Region Infield squad. Meyer is from Jacksonville, Illinois and currently plans to continue his career at a four-year university this fall.

This spring season, Meyer led the team with .376  average. He also tallied: 18 doubles, four triples, eight home runs, 53 RBIs, and 32 stolen bases.
