Q&A Session

Why did you decide to come to John wood, and what is your major?

• I decided to come to John Wood because I really liked the team dynamic on the basketball team and could see myself fitting in well here. I also knew that John Wood was a great opportunity for me to figure out what I wanted to do in the future academically. I am currently undecided on my major.

What do you most like about this year's team, and who is always the one bringing the energy/ positivity in practice?

• What I love most about this year's team is the constant support and confidence we have in each other. They are always so uplifting and have helped me grow into a better teammate and player. 

What is your go to song or playlist during pregame routine?

• Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield

Do you have any pregame ritual that you always do before a game?

• I always do my hair before each game. Look good and play well.

What is one piece of advice that you'd tell someone thinking about playing a sport in college? 

• One piece of advice that I would give someone thinking about playing a sport in college is to enjoy it and work hard! The early mornings and tough workouts are only going to make you better. Make the most out of every chance you get.

Plans after John Wood and if so, would you want to go close to or far from home?

• My plan after John Wood is to attend a 4-year university and continue my athletic and academic career. Personally, I have no preference to where that be at, far or near!
